HOW TO FIND AN ATTORNEY

Overview

The guide is meant to help someone who is not represented by a lawyer find the resources needed to hire an attorney.

This information is not meant to replace State laws or Court Rules. The purpose of this guide is to give general information.  You have a right to represent yourself in court, but it comes with the responsibility to follow certain court rules and procedures.  If you have any questions, please speak with an attorney about your case.

FIND AN ATTORNEY

It is always in your best interest to speak with an attorney about your case.

If you are unable to afford an attorney, you may be eligible for free representation depending on your income and other factors.
